A little trip to the Peach state

When we decided to fly home for J's grandparents anniversary we discussed several options for travel. 1. Drive to Ga from CA...haha who am I kidding we actually said we will never drive that again until we move. 2. Fly home for the weekend and tell my family to go south to see us. 3. For go Christmas block leave (the 2 week period that the Army allows soldiers to take as a mass unit, yet still charging that time against them) and spend 2 weeks in GA in February instead.
We chose option 3.
Flying with 2 little people 3 and 9 months, cost in the $300s plus the 6 hours in the car to get to and from the airport equaled H-E-L-L to me so if I was going to make the effort it better be worth it!
And it was of course! We were able to spend a week with my family and a week with J's family. Not even close to enough time but is there ever? Do people that live close to home feel like they spend enough time with their family?

Here are the pictures from the trip: (I NEED to take more pictures!!)
