Christmas delay

Well I should be typing this from Georgia but due to the CRAZY fog here yesterday I am typing from Ft. Hood. We went to the airport twice trying to get out but they kept canceling and finally around 6:00 pm they decided that no more flights were leaving so....they rescheduled my flight for Monday which set me back a few days but everything seems to be working out ok in the end. Since I was supposed to talk Clayton for his first Santa picture in the Lawrenceville square today and did not make it I took him to the mall here. The picture turned out really cute! Clayton was trying to pull his beard and pull his glasses off!

Clayton is doing really well. He had the flu all week which did not add to the frustration of the trip cancellation but he is all better now and back to speed crawling all over the house. He follows me and when I am moving to fast he stops and crys this pitiful cry as if I have broken his heart. I'm afraid that mommy is missing phase is kicking in. He seems to be ok as long as he can see me but when I am out of sight there are some major tears!

Crawling crawling everywhere

So Clayton is on the move! He is everywhere now. He follows me in to different rooms and thinks he is doing something funny when he crosses the threshold into a new room. Today he started doing this weird bear crawl thing it is so funny. He gets up on his tip toes and hands and rocks! Oh we saw Santa today while we were at the mall. Santa walked past us and Clayton could have cared less. In a weird way this makes me happy. Maybe next year he will really care and Jason can experience it with him. I love that Clayton is crawling now but at the same time it makes me so sad. He is growing up SO fast. I was looking at his hair today and realized he is losing his little mohawk! His hair lays down now and it makes him look like a little boy.

Well other than a trip to the mall we didn't do anything extraordinary today so there isn't really anything to report on. Maybe tomorrow will bring something exciting!

Some quick pictures taken in the last week or so:

Clayton fell asleep shopping...I felt so bad!
Welcome. I have had a running blog at another site and decided that there was not enough room to add pictures so I moved over here! We shall see if this works better. I hope so!
Clayton really enjoyed his first Thanksgiving!
