Charlotte takes life one step at a time

Just a few weeks ago Charlotte started walking and now she is climbing stairs...time to get the baby gates out again. Life is never dull with kids learning new skills everyday!

First Day of Strong Beginings

Clayton started Preschool last Thursday (August 9, 2012). He has been in a preschool type program for 3 years, since he was 22 months but this year is actual Pre-K. The program we chose is called Strong Beginnings and is ran through the Child Development Center here on post. We really love the programs Clayton was previously and he and I both have kind of always been jealous of the "big kids" in the cool, fun, big room...and it is finally his turn.

Sissy girl wanted in on the pictures too :)

They have to sign in every day! I can't wait to see the improvement.

This is going to be a fun year!

Happy Birthday Dr Suess!

I absolutely love Dr Seuss. His collection of books is one of those collections that I read as a child and loved and re-read as an adult and found such a deeper meaning and s real lesson. The Dr's birthday is March 2 and Clayton never misses an opportunity to celebrate a birthday so we did just that at home and at school!

Thanks Pinterst for this great list of Dr Seuss quotes!

The picture is a little blurry but Clayton's head is the Cat in the Hat. He LOVES this shirt!!

The snack for the day...it is supposed to be the hat the Cat in the Hat wears.
